DMT - ALTA - LESE

The DMT system is an integrated framework for anonymously holding, exchanging, and trading assets from gold and dollars to euros and offshore warrants. It substitutes cryptological protocols for supposedly "private" and "confidential" bankers and lawyers who weave an expensive, and often insecure, path through the "offshore" world.

The basis of the DMT system is DMT's geographically and politically-distributed server network. Customers access this network through user-friendly interfaces—either the DMT "browser", a dedicated piece of software that may be downloaded from the Internet; or the ALTA system, a web-based interface compatible with commercial and open-source web browsers like Opera, Mozilla, Microsoft's Internet Explorer, or Netscape's Navigator.

The ALTA interface and the DMT browser can be found on the DMT Network. To access this network, go to https://dmt.orlingrabbe.com, and you will be automatically routed to a DMT gateway site. Log in to ALTA and create an account (accounts) for yourself.

The DMT browser is written in Java (versiona 1.2.2 and later) and will run on most Linux and Unix systems, as well as Microsoft Windows and recent Apple operating systems. The DMT browser is in principle more secure than web-based products, but many will find the web-based ALTA interface more convenient to use.

The LESE system is available to ALTA account holders. To enable an ALTA account for LESE-trading, just click on the ALTA account name. You will see an account summary, as well as a button to LESE-enable the account. The first time you do this, the system will also create your LESE user-name (same as your ALTA user-name) and a unique LESE password.

Originally ALTA was created and designed by DMT to be a product offering by Laissez Faire City's Municipal Corporation (MUNI-Corp). But DMT subsequently acquired all rights to both the name and software as indicated in this tombstone. LESE is a generalized market for trading—whether assets or IPOs. There are currently markets for all those currencies (and gold) found in the DMT Rand, as well as for the DMT Rand itself. Anyone with an ALTA account holding the requisite dollars for buying, or requisite assets for selling, may post bids and offers. The ALTA/LESE system automatically escrows payment amounts or assets so that no asset may be sold twice, and bids can't be entered without the available resources to make payment.

DMT will list any asset for trading that, in its judgment, makes business sense. Listed assets in which there is no market interest will, after a period of time, be delisted.
